The Purpose
It seems these days folks are awfully quick
To make snap judgments, and make them stick.
But often their info is incomplete
Or too one-sided and fully replete
With partisan trash and opponents’ gaffs…
So these rhymes hope to give some laughs.

I was born and bred in New York City
Have an awesome wife, she’s super pretty.
Of course that’s not why she’s totally amazing.
She’s smart and funny and was terrific raising
Our two children, now in their teens.
Great kids indeed, with their mother’s genes.

For the way most things really pan out.
