How about Liz Cheney, a Republican Rep,

Taking a most courageous public step

To call out her colleague as abhorrent

For his racist and nationalistic torrent.

But how credible a voice can she really be,

When she sold out her sister for being LGTB?!

Waking up early is one of life’s chief joys,
Before all the bustle and annoying noise.
It helps you get grounded and centers the soul
Giving you time for what makes you feel whole.

Nothing can excuse his behavior.

But he did more than most to save your

Turns out he did no good to mention.

He didn’t really take any time to think.

And his new routines just plain stink.

There is no doubt that lefties are mad.

But holy crap this is starting out bad.

Considering the honor of her position,

And that to some it is a vision of perdition,

The first Muslim in Congress of her gender

Would do better to channel thoughtful splendor.

To build or not to build, that is the question.

What ‘tis nobler, or easier for digestion?

Perhaps more relevant, what is the goal?

National security or strength at the poll?

A wall does no good, is the expert consensus.

But it sure diverts focus from all other offenses.

Is it because misery sells more than joy?

Perhaps all the bad news is simply a ploy

For the media on both the left and right

To whip up our anger and start a fight.

All the while great things are achieved!

The progress we’ve made is hard to believe.

With any and all, including the Russians.

It was great that Donnie met with Kim

Our diplomacy there had been fairly grim.

What’s stupid are all the claims we’ve won
