My outlook on the world overall

The left is reacting in the worst way

With its own polarizing media sway.

As compared to Americans fifty years ago
The extremely obese have grown 10 times or so.
So yes it’s a fact that we’re getting much fatter –
Too many fingers dipped in the cookie batter –
But at least it’s also very plain to see
We’ve grown intellectual curiosity… Not.

Can you imagine if this is truly our choice?
A socialist or a guy in a gold Rolls Royce…
Both are crazy in their own unique ways
And provide no help getting out of our maze.
This grand experiment that is our nation
May soon collapse in degradation.

The sirens and lights create quite a scene
As he hands over the cup you have to pee in.
“I don’t suppose you would believe
It might be hard for me to relieve
My bladder at this moment in time…
It’s brewing another Corona and lime!”

In case Florida had too few attractions

Some folks there took unusual actions…

Against the imperious leader of our land.
The other candidates worry, as we all should…
Can Bernie beat Trump? Perhaps he could
But a socialist for President is just no good.

He is the most decorated Navy SEAL… ever

Combining strength, courage and being clever.

He served leaders on both sides of the aisle

And has put his life on the line, with a smile.

This patriot now says enough is enough!

We would be wise to listen to his stuff.

Meet Whisky, a happy and focused border collie

Who’s totally dismissive of the world’s folly.

She lives with her owners and 100 toys

And spends most of the day pursuing her joys.

Not frivolous, mind you, she’s learned the names

Of all of her toys while playing her games.

Does anyone else get the feeling

That all of this chaotic freewheeling

Is not close to coming to an end

But will continue to make our minds bend?

Long gone is the notion of governing that’s formal.

It’s amazing what we now take for normal…
