Elon is pissed that revenue’s shrinking,

That Apple fled without even blinking.

He’s trying to make it about free speech –

If you oppose Twitter then it’s a breach.

But speech AND the markets are indeed free,

And Apple is showing what freedom can be.

Hats off to the working kids of Gen Z

Posting their day jobs for the world to see!

Going into an office can be fun

Especially when it’s job number one.

The pandemic kept all these kids at home

Their bright outlook should be a common syndrome.

It’s hard to watch and not feel a bit sick

Especially if the boss is a dick.

But apparently what these folks can do

Is make work better for them and for you.

Fluffing the boss can make him feel real good

And then treat everyone the way he should.

Ye asked Trump to be his running mate

And I guess that didn’t go over so great.

But the headline doesn’t make it so clear

Which of these two is giving the smear.

It truly could go in either direction!

One thing for sure? There’s no more affection.

I love the headline, I’m all about it

And I wish that everyone would shout it.

Coming from Elon it’s kind of a laugh

Since he’s not either, according to staff.

But he did vote for Biden in ’20…

I hope there are more choices aplenty.

Before the election it’s all you heard

Crime is atrocious! So bad it’s absurd!

But then things didn’t turn out quite the way

The GOP hoped on election day.

So now Fox needs a new line of attack

As it tries to bring the far right back.

Who says we’re polarized and can’t agree?

When it comes to Thanksgiving, look and see…

Everyone believes it would not be bright

To scare up a big political fight

As we stuff turkey into our gut.

But if we avoid all that, well then what?

It’s actually a little depressing…

Because though it may seem like a blessing

The only reason there’s centrist support

Is ‘cuz so many are about to abort.

And since they’re all leaving the ship of state

Only NOW they think it’s safe to shoot straight.

On the one hand I totally agree

The country’s gone soft, so it seems to me.

On the other, if we look overseas

Places survive without “hard work disease.”

So suck it up and stop all your whining,

But don’t end up like Jack in The Shining.

“No one NEEDS that much money!” said my Mom.

For whom wealth was distant and caused a qualm.

But don’t let the money get in your head

Focus on the innovation instead.

No one is perfect, of that we’re all sure

But canceling super-wealth is no cure.
