To Sleep, Perchance to Dream

I mean, napping ten thousand times a day?!

Part of it sounds pretty sweet, I have to say.

Though I think lots of folks kinda do just that

Sleepwalking their way through their habitat.

But to me the biggest problem it seems

Is that it’s hard to have any good dreams.

Um, the Customer Always Sucks?

It used to be the customer was right

A golden rule you could always cite.

With online platforms many users are

Very often inclined towards the bizarre.

Now it appears that some owners are too!

Sponsors are customers… and many are through.

Go Nutty, Life is Short

I did another lap around the sun

So will celebrate today and have some fun!

I mentioned to “someone” that I’m trying

To be less rigid and start applying

A more spontaneous approach to life…

She said that will make for a happier wife!

Credit Omen

Even just reading it gives me a pit

Deep in my stomach, I have to admit.

Maxing out credit cards is a bad sign

And generally indicates a decline.

It’s reckless at worst and desperate at best.

I’ve been there myself, it makes you distressed.

How Did We Get Here?

One day perhaps we’ll look back at all this

And it might make sense as we reminisce…

Why we’re entrusting the future of our land

To these two people who are both unfit

For a second term… why can’t they both quit?

Then Model It For Them

The premise here is not complicated

What impacts kids is heavily weighted

Not by anything they are told to do

But by the actions of adults that they view.

Most people want all their kids to be kind

But it’s over grades that they lose their mind.

The Fear of Irrelevance

It’s kinda like a mini bucket list

Or looking at age and shaking your fist.

While I haven’t worried about this yet

There’s no doubt in my mind that it’s a threat.

Happy to say that the ideas here

Are all pretty darn cool to engineer.

Be Happy

Thanksgiving is here, let’s all celebrate!

And avoid the pitfalls of hot debate.

It’s not the day to change other folks’ mind

Just accept what is and try to be kind.

Seek out some me time, have that extra drink

Just be happy today, don’t stop and think.

Man Eater?

Seems Hall and Oates have had a falling out

Details are vague as to what it’s about.

I guess one can’t go for that, no can do

And maybe private eyes will give a clue…

But partnerships get strained as time goes by

It’s often real hard to truly know why.

Rarefied Air

Statistics are used in multiple ways

They can be used to frighten or amaze.

Here it’s no surprise what these stats announce –

The Super Rich have a debt, and it mounts.

No finger wagging or upper class glare

Hides the load of their carbon in the air!
