All these nations are increasing the lump

Of cash they’re paying and actually owe

For enjoying the protection of NATO.

Maybe it’s true and maybe it’s not

But the fact remains that we took a shot.

Trump couldn’t know if it worked right away

But he’ll always claim Total Victory today.

So we shouldn’t’ believe the claims he made

Nor these we’re now hearing, they’re all mislaid.

The outcome of this is yet to be known

Possibly brilliant, or a bad milestone.

Seems the planning and execution were great.

But informing Congress was a tad late.

Yet I applaud Trump’s moves getting it done,

Throwing everyone off before firing the gun.

Iran poses an existential risk

So it’s hard to observe this and say “Tsk tsk…”

Israel has the right to defend itself

And has pulled brazen plans off the shelf.

The question that everyone else will fear

Is whether the conflict will spread to “here.”

In a state that’s dealing with such disruption

It’s not hard to see why there’d be an eruption

When the governor’s wife goes on a shopping spree

Toting her spoils with the utmost glee.

LA is filled with signs of the musical clef…

How could she be so extremely tone deaf?

To say a penny short and a day late

Would of course dramatically understate

The outrageous state of current affairs…

The data proves that neither side cares.
