Joe is now in and had a great start,

Trying to ensure we don’t tear apart.

He appealed to unity and no lies,

And Fox News agreed that was wise.

Even Donnie left him a gracious note

Though still hasn’t said he won the vote.

The Swamp has new vigor.

The deficit is bigger.

The environment is trashed.

Emoluments were cashed.

Divisions grew faster.

Donnie was a disaster.

I have to say the description seems to fit

He’s a blot alright, and of the dimmest wit.

The ink blot let’s you see what you want

It feeds you illusions in your favorite font.

And the worst of our instincts saw a sage.

Rudy is taking some pretty bad hits

From the left and the right, quite a blitz.

But man oh man it would make me smile

If he represents Donnie in the Senate trial.

But we can’t be certain he has the will –

Well this is certainly an interesting dilemma!

To date it seems he would prefer an enema

Than to be bothered with the daily briefs

From any of our nation’s intelligence chiefs.

So once he is gone and out of our hair

Suddenly THEN is when he’d decide to care…?

I have to imagine the chances are good!

If ever there were principles for which he stood

Or else make thoughtful people curse.

Donnie has always trended towards excess

And likes to believe it’s the same as success.

But somewhere now in that self-serving mind

One has to think that he’s going to find

A brand new thought stacked in the wood:

Being twice impeached just couldn’t be good.

It’s hard to like Bill if you’re from New York.

He left the Jets at the altar then used a pitchfork

To destroy all teams that stood in his way –

Except for the Giants, TWICE, on Super Sunday!

He cheated and scowled and was super driven.
