Of quality people in politics

Who’re willing and able to try and fix

The real problems facing the world today

Which aren’t black or white, but are shades of gray.

I don’t have a problem with the outcome

It upheld the law, though still makes me numb.

The issue for me? He wanted trouble…

Why are some people so excited now?

This is behavior we should disavow.

What goes through the minds of prosecutors

More intent to win than finding the shooters.

Destroying the lives of those without guilt

Their own conscience dispersed and lost in silt.

And meanwhile out there someone still laughs

A criminal free due to human gaffes.

As we see “work from home” start to evolve

It raises some questions we’ll need to solve.

The work from home crowd is still gonna lurk

Certainly from my own long perspective

A move like this is highly reflective

Of politics and thinking run amok

Especially after his big bad fall?

If he’s a mouth for the right, things are bad

Consumer spending is vital to all

The amount of pure stuff we tend to buy

Can really beg the simple question – why?

Self-discipline is how you win the game.
