“Emoluments” means that you earn some dough

Are outside the normal contribution.

Fanone spent his life in the GOP

Defending justice and democracy.

He voted for Trump and was a big fan

So it’s important to hear about his new plan –

Every leader who has turned a blind eye

Must be made to account for Trump’s Big Lie.

Sondland grew up in the hotel biz

And knows how important graciousness is.

He was our ambassador to the EU

Being diplomatic when problems grew.

So perhaps we should listen to his schtick

When he says that Trump is a big ‘ole dick.

Hard to imagine a worse way to launch

A new administration that’s so staunch.

Seems that the policies were quite JV

And had not been developed thoughtfully.

Coupled with thinking that was not so clear

The PM hit some bumps, it would appear.

There is not enough money in the world

To make up for the horror that he hurled

At people whose loss went far beyond grief.

His behavior was just beyond belief.

He did it for both his own power and greed,

And so many people approved of his deed…

Too often we find that people will hide

In the lazy choice of taking a side

And accusing those who think otherwise

Of “isms” and bigotry and mean lies.

But what if they still love one another

And just think differently than their brother?
