Patronizing for Profit

Had it not been before it is now clear

That the media we really should fear

Isn’t the nonsense we find on Twitter

Where anyone’s “news” is tossed like litter

But outlets that have won their viewers’ trust

Then feed them lies for their own greedy lust.

How do they sleep?

Liberals are annoying, that can be true

So I often get the Fox News team’s view.

But sorry to say that this is pure shit…

Pure greed, pure nonsense, which they now admit.

Wrap it all up in free speech and the flag

This immoral crew makes me want to gag.

Things are good!

We humans are an interesting breed

And throughout our history have had the need

To predict a future of fear and woe

Then invent answers that don’t make it so.

These kids believed that our lives would be bleak

But instead we’ve been on a winning streak.

Rest in peace, Raquel

I remember when she first caught my eye

In Life Magazine, I thought I would die…

She was already in her late thirties

I was so young, but thought about flirties.

Athletic and sexy and with such grace

I hope she’s happy in her resting place…

Too little too late

In 2015 she took a hard line

And made it seem as if she had a spine.

“Never Trump” was her motto, head held high!

Until, that is, she let her dignity die.

After Trump won she slithered to his side

So no, Nikki, you do not abide…

Looks like it worked!

“Whatever it takes!” is so often heard

But is rarely done if it seems absurd…

So now it looks like Lululemon red

Is certain to do an NFL spread!

Whatever Mahomes is doing just works.

And who knows, perhaps there are other perks.

Independence Day?!

Yup, this is starting to get pretty weird

As a fourth flying object has appeared.

We took it out fast but still do not know

Just what it is and how big of a blow

It represents to our security

But we’re proceeding with maturity.

Spine of jelly

His inclination seems to be on track

Banning guns reduces risk of attack.

So of course he’d rather that they are banned…

It just can’t look like it was his command!

And that right there is where deep problems start –

Lusting for power, forsaking the heart.

Soft Landing, or Liftoff?

Doomsday is better at selling the news

And if it’s wrong, no one pays any dues.

Tons of predictions are forecasting gloom

But what if things are about to bloom?

Could it be that life will just get no worse?

And does saying that guarantee a curse?!

Whales will be whales

These little male orcas need so much care

Their mothers are left with no time to spare

For pretty much anything other than

Feeding the tyrants again and again.

The young females don’t need even half as much…

Seems kind of like humans, given as such.
