By now I’d think it comes as no surprise

That both sides of the aisle have their eyes

On corruption and power and the way

That they will all try to seize the day.

Turns out the Dems too are guilty as sin

For causing the gun problem that we’re in.

Free speech is so often misunderstood
Private firms for instance know that they could
Censor whatever the heck they decide
And then let their stakeholders leave or abide.
But one thing that simply cannot be done
Is for government to pressure anyone.

Despite yet another night of excess

When you’d think I’d be open to drinking much less

I’m still convinced in the back of my mind
