More than two centuries in, let’s reflect…

Why do so many believe we are wrecked?

We have our flaws and mistakes have been made,

A work in progress, let’s not be dismayed.

We remain the greatest power on earth

Where dreams – and chances – are still given birth.

It remains among our hardest of things…

Abortion, the law, and all that it brings.

So it would seem to me a prudent move –

Assuming we want all life to improve –

For sex education to be funded

So that there’s awareness of what one did.

At some point it’s time to call it all out

With this dude on the plane there is no doubt

He’s got problems… issues… say what you will

No matter what we call it, it is still

A case of imbalance in the guy’s head.

“No Fly List” for him, he can walk instead.

It really does sort of boggle the mind

That after two years of work from home grind

SO many people still have not a clue

How bad are the angles that we all view

Of them on their Zoom calls, in weird poses

And us looking sideways or up their noses.

Once upon a time they roamed our nation

Doing great work, and not blamed for inflation.

Then their party started drifting far Left

While the Right screamed about election theft.

Next thing you know this important old beast

And all its good work are all but deceased…

Love is such an intoxicating thing

And so like all stimulants it can sting.

It’s not hard to imagine being caught

By a swindler who preys on those who bought

That love can be found in many places

Including that online book of faces.

Everyone says that she’s so courageous.

And that others won’t speak is outrageous.

But before the world embraces her schtick

It would be prudent to fact check it quick.

Hearsay dominates the bulk of her news.

And it seems like she has the least to lose…

Of COURSE most Americans feel this vibe
We all come from an epic “Can Do” tribe!
No mountain too high or journey too far
We’ll show the world exactly what we are.
At least that’s what we’ll do soon or one day…
Because, you know, the diet starts Monday.

Among the things that agitate me most

Is lack of consistency when you post

Your opinions in public, with some rage,

While you failed to fully engage

With the logic and consequence of your stand,

Admitting that reason is all but damned.

We often poke fun at our neighbors up north,

What with their gentle manners and so forth.

But when things get too crazy here down south

What you might hear from an American’s mouth

Is that they’re moving out, Canada bound!

At least that’s what Google metrics have found…
