I hate it when you try to do some good

Like snuff out the Devil the best you could

From any soul that he chose to obsess

And instead you just make a giant mess…

But fighting the Devil is no small task

And may perhaps be done with a big flask…

How this is done is beyond my pay grade

Which sadly is true of a lot, I’m afraid…

Like building a rocket to go to the Moon.

If I were alone life would end very soon.

So what these guys are doing is just insane,

Connecting computers right into the brain.

Now Elon has said there’s evil afoot

And so perhaps he will no longer put

A part of his fortune into Twitter

Because it seems it may have some litter…

How many “users” are simply bots?

Well, it turns out, that could actually be lots!

Astronomers have now seen the Black Hole

Which it turns out has played quite a big role

Swallowing solar systems, yes that’s right

And sending them to an eternal night.

They seem super stoked about their cool find.

I have to admit that it blows my mind.

And it’s pretty much how I think about

Our state of affairs and government scene

Disappointing indeed, almost obscene.

Without a party but firm in his views

His balanced approach will never make news…

I don’t have a problem with Elon Musk

But plenty believe the gathering dusk

Of society’s undoing can be traced

To the crazy ideas he’s embraced.

That crowd must be happy with this new plot…

Can’t wait for his stint as an astronaut.

It hardly seems possible this is news…

Is it really a wonder where he gets his cues?

Perhaps if his name was, like, Tinkerbell

We’d hear about this and huff and say “Well!”

But marketing is as marketing does,

Young Thug must be happy with all this buzz.

I’m always a sucker for beating the odds –

Underdogs determined to beat the gods.

This horse (and his team) are just out of sight!

He was so jacked up he wanted to bite

Anything which seemed to be in his way.

I sure hope there was nothing in his hay…

As with most things this has both ups and downs
Work from home causes both smiles and frowns.
I wouldn’t be quick to say it’s a perk
Though it’s nice to avoid the office jerk.
But working from anywhere soon becomes
Working from everywhere, beating the drums.

It can take a pandemic to realize

Life is so short, a mere flash in the eyes.

There just isn’t time to waste on those folks

Who aren’t all that fun or don’t like your jokes.

No, our life is not a dress rehearsal

So make it all count, there’s no reversal.
