When growing up I was frequently told

I’m always amazed at their resilience

For very quickly I see the brilliance

That there’s always something more to be bought!

You’d be tempted to think that it’s a joke.

Given all the things that seem to be broke

Now this? Really? Invading from the sky?

I didn’t even know spiders could fly!

75% of us say “Tweet? No way…!”

Only 1% watch FOX for their news,

Half of that get MSNBC’s views.

And three times more of us give to charity

Than we give to political barbarity.
