Now that the day for giving thanks has passed

We can resume our state of being aghast!

And quickly appearing to fit the bill

Is when the parade balloons start to appear.

Promotes ideas that are bereft

Of all clarity and common sense

It will make most all folks very tense.

Trump’s carnival bark is never hazy

And Rashida’s plan is batshit crazy.

I’m not totally clear what I’m missing

But WAPO here seems to be dissing

Using law enforcement to enforce the law

Which doesn’t seem like a very big flaw.

Local police may be the best suited

To make sure illegals are prosecuted.

These two guys were proud of Fox News

And believe in airing diverse views.

All questions should be asked, not just a few,

But they left when reporting was no longer true.

Sadly we see it happen again and again…

Perhaps more people should leave CNN.

When the pendulum swings too far one way

The folks behind it will usually pay.

Why do the new guys make the same mistakes?

Going nuts instead of pumping the brakes.

The two party system is meant to provide

Centrist results not a gulf too wide.

Confidence is low for independents

Who don’t believe there’s much attendance

Of quality people in politics

Who’re willing and able to try and fix

The real problems facing the world today

Which aren’t black or white, but are shades of gray.

I don’t have a problem with the outcome

It upheld the law, though still makes me numb.

The issue for me? He wanted trouble…

And his AR-15 made it double.

Why are some people so excited now?

This is behavior we should disavow.

What goes through the minds of prosecutors

More intent to win than finding the shooters.

Destroying the lives of those without guilt

Their own conscience dispersed and lost in silt.

And meanwhile out there someone still laughs

A criminal free due to human gaffes.

As we see “work from home” start to evolve

It raises some questions we’ll need to solve.

Coordination is really the key

Get everyone in, it’s the place to be!

The work from home crowd is still gonna lurk

But maybe it’s time that we “work from work…”
