It sure seems an odd marriage of forces
The world of wellness and conspiracy sources.
But both are bonded by a deep mistrust
Of the establishment they think unjust.
Which side is more likely to win the day…
Will it be QAnon or namaste?

Can’t say the Prince was very inspired

Saying space travel should be retired

And that the focus of the brightest mind

Should be on problems of the earthly kind.

But the old captain’s response also blew –

Let’s go pollute other planets too!

A great example of being an ass!

Yes all perspectives should be taught in class,

But what exactly do they mean by this?

I’d guess nothing really, except to diss

Critical Race Theory and how it’s taught

But that could be done with a better thought.

The thing about standup comedians

Is that they don’t play for the medians.

Generally self-loathing and full of spite

Most of them are probably not alright.

But they’re also smart and complicated…

Who Dave is after could be debated.

As the sand falls more quickly through the glass

And all the days seem shorter as they pass

Time is the currency in most demand

So the trick is to have the cards in hand

That allow you to realize the success

Of enjoying time without feeling stress.

Some people simply are not very nice

And now their behavior comes with a price.

Workers are staying away from their jobs

Because they are dealing with angry mobs.

Those who complain about the unemployed

Then treat those who work as if they’re annoyed…

They are not more frequent, but more intense

And they come at incredible expense.

One grew to reach the size of Rhode Island

Then it burned for quite a good while and

Leveled a whole Gold Rush-era town

Killing people and bringing buildings down.

Perhaps single tests aren’t the right measure,

And calling it “gifted” was no treasure.

But the bedrock of freedom and success

Is to give kids the chance for more, not less.

Ending this program does good for no one,

But indeed shows that Bill is the slow one.

It started out innocently enough

Filled with fun and pretty harmless stuff,

Most of it designed to give us FOMO

Like check out this mansion’s major-domo…

Then came algorithms and politics,

Which put everything into a pretty bad fix.

An interesting question for our times,

As it seems we make tons of mental crimes.

The dumbing of America… it’s a trend.

How did it start – and please how does it end?!

You likely don’t know it when you’re insane,

So this madness might have a long, long reign.
