Why

If you don’t bother to take the time,
To express your thoughts in rhyme,
The chances are awfully good,
You’ve not thought as much as you should.
Rhymes are fun and set the stage right,
Like lovers undressing before a fight…

Sacre bleu

While it’s always fun to needle the French

Especially about their military bench

It’s also painful to watch the blunders

Of foreign policy that simply plunders

All goodwill and bonds formed over the years

I hope there’s a reason that allays these fears.

And no messy diapers

Cows don’t think much about where they should “go”

And most typically will just let it flow.

That, in turn, creates nitrous oxide –

Fun to breath! But the planet gets fried.

So here’s a solution while they roam…

But what will happen when the cows come home?

Either way, pretty funny

So Trump believes we’ll be gone in three years…

But might run again since he has no peers.

Will society end because he runs?

And we’ll again have to hear from his sons?

Or will he run to rule the nothing left?

At least he can’t claim electoral theft.

On the one hand

It did really seem Trump was unstable…

And if Milley was willing and able

To protect protocols for waging war

Well that is in line with the oath he swore.

But if he back-channeled with the Chinese

That could be a dangerous power seize.

Political hypocrisy, again

Guess who mandates lots’o vaccination?

Yup, every single state in the nation.

Have some kids and want them to go to school?

They must be vaxed for disease, it’s the rule.

Tetanus, polio, mumps and measles…

But covid…? Those tyrannical weasels!

In Unity is Strength

Listen to the words of this warrior

There couldn’t be a better courier.

He’s the Navy SEAL who killed Osama

Under direct orders from Obama.

Not a victory for the right or the left,

It was protecting a nation bereft.

Never Forget

I remember exactly where I was…

When tragedy strikes hard, it’s what one does.

The morning was lovely in NYC

Without any hint of what was to be.

The memories remain a bit surreal…

All those lives shattered like the twisted steel.

On the other hand…

Needless to say this is extremely odd

And suggests awareness about like sod.

Creepy and disturbing without a doubt

This young woman must have been all wigged out.

But, someone lived with her unknown to all…

Really, not a bad roommate, that’s my call!

Could you imagine…?

Surprising that this is still so low key…

The entire global economy

Depends on the debt of the USA

And the promise that it will always pay.

Both sides of the aisle have made the mess,

Who will clean it up is anyone’s guess

“Freedom” Phones

Smart phones are an integral part of life

Tied to your routine more so than a wife.

Freedom, however, is not what I think

About these tools that are a constant link

To work and wingnuts who don’t want to talk

But rather go rabid and squawk squawk squawk…
