New York is back in almost every way

With one key exception, I have to say…

No one is back in the office quite yet!

Sure the bars are full, on that you can bet.

But working, meh, folks are staying at home,

Putting off their return to the Thunder Dome!

Some scientists in China now believe,

Or at least would like the world to perceive,

That covid started in a US lab.

I mean, why not? They’ll give it a stab…

No doubt there’ll be takers of the tall tale

Conspiracy theorists, off the rail.

This seems so cool and that it must be done

Whisking across the Channel, having fun.

Probably great when conditions are calm…

But good luck when hit by a weather bomb!

This scheme will be revised time and again,

Here’s to the best laid plans of mice and men.

It’s amazing to consider what’s going down

And the whole new threat that’s come to town.

No one would have thought a generation ago

That even as nuclear arsenals grow

Worse weapons still lurk in man’s evil mind

Just a matter of time before they’re designed.

Turns out these birds can be pretty clever.

Call someone a bird brain? Yeah, whatever.

They follow the seed with a cunning eye

And are loathe to let anything slip them by.

Add to that their ability for flight

And I’d say this crew has gotten it right.

It’s like being killed after armistice…

These poor victims who simply just missed this.

It’s not that it’s any less bad for those

Who died early on, no oxygen hose.

Or anyone we lost along the way…

But with the end so near, a bitter day.

I try to keep things both balanced and fair
Because too much bias is in the air.
So it’s easy to come out strong on this
Because this “viewpoint” is a massive miss!
It’s not a smear campaign in the slightest
Her lawyers said it, she’s not the brightest.

Just when you thought the world was coming back
And the problems we’ve faced are going slack
Then BAM! whadya know, another is here!
Tourists dressing as dicks and drinking beer…
I swear the Dutch are just so frickin’ weird
Of all they let happen, THIS one they feared?!

It can be no surprise that we’re rising

Since Donnie was all about despising.

Shattering alliances that we need

Mostly driven by his personal greed.

And they’re right about their call for concern

Our political health’s in a bad turn.

Despite attempts to discredit their work

By a petulant Pres, being a jerk,

The FBI just scored a massive win

Hunting down bad guys and luring them in

To a messaging platform, thought secure

And now they’re all off to prison for sure.
