If THIS court has ruled that the results must stand

Then for God’s sake admit that you’ve been canned!

Seventy-nine years ago on this day

America was forced to enter the fray

Of the second world war in a generation.

By the end we had earned global veneration.

What would those who ignored their own need

Think of our leaders today, all driven by greed?

If you think about it for just a little while

It would be the perfect addition to his file.

He’s not one to do things like other folks

And thinks everything intellectual is a hoax.

So it’s easy to imagine that this nutty boaster

Would scrap the library for a rollercoaster.

I mean, the guy is definitely New York bred!

But imagine the balls to pick up the phone

And tell the governor of Georgia to act alone

To reverse the will of the people of his state!

How could it possibly be the case today

But now that the end is most certainly here

What black magic is killing his future career?

On the one hand voting is filled with fraud

And the entire process is nothing to applaud.

So why bother casting a vote at the polls

On the other hand it would be very nice they think,

If Georgia’s voters didn’t let their majority shrink.

A “proactive” pardon before he’s arrested

On any number of charges for crimes committed…

And what a crime it would be if he were acquitted.
