Opening schools is a complicated matter

With plenty of perils served up on a platter.

It’s not hard to see the challenges presented,

To think it’s simple would be demented.

But voting, however, is clearly a threat!

A lefty plot to aid and abet…

Okay, yes they have the protected right

To burn the flag and religion every night.

But it does make me stop and ask why.

If you’re really concerned by how many die

It seems there are more productive ways

Than burning sacred symbols in a blaze.

Everyone has a limit somewhere,

The line is crossed and they really care.

Amazing how distant that limit can be

For most of the members of the GOP!

So Donnie’s idea to postpone the election

Could possibly be a point of inflection.

They don’t come like this much anymore.

A man with principles at his core.

Agree or not with a stand he may take

He tackled issues with a lot at stake.

I hope his commitment in life to peace

Will one day help make injustice cease.

When it comes to supporting the FBI

Donnie is not so often the guy.

And when it comes to fighting Covid-19

He’s pretty much absent, hardly seen.

But relief money could be used SO well

For a new FBI building next to his hotel.

It’s an interesting theory, that’s for sure.

And I bet he’s already developed a cure!

Now he’s just waiting for more to folks to die

So then he can drive the price sky high!

Never mind he devoted his life to service

Yeah, this cagey guy should make you nervous.

For sure they’ve had their share of fights

And though Lewis is an icon of civil rights

Donnie can’t deign to give him respect

Because he still feels that Lewis wrecked

His Inauguration Ball by refusing to go

And a fragile ego can’t take that blow.

Imagine for a moment you don’t like Biden

And you’re not the type to go about hidin’

That you think he’s a socialist, it’s how you feel

And now you have to make the message real.

So you head off to Walmart in a Nazi mask!

Which simply raises too many questions to ask…

It’s not like it’s coming from the lefty fringe

Or a tainted news source on which they binge.
