About how our dysfunction came to be.

But whatever the cause both are to blame

For stoking it as a political game.

Thank God Trump survived this tragic event…

May it lead us towards healing our discontent.

Joe’s making a case that things are alright

No need that he slip off into the night.

But some of these gaffes, while pretty funny

Don’t point towards a future very sunny.

Maybe he holds on through the election,

But the years after that? Imperfection…

The headline we read sure makes it appear

That Labour is soft on crime, it’s so clear!

But dig in a bit and then what you learn

Is the Tories knew what a big concern

Prison overcrowding already posed

And this is in fact what they had proposed.

While I’m in the camp that thinks he should go

This dumb demand is for nothing but show.

What sort of “evidence” can one provide

For a future event that voters decide?!

Surely they want to keep secret the fact

That all voting machines have again been hacked…

It certainly could be a big bloodbath,

Charging full steam down the far rightwing path.

Teed up for glory, a very big win

Already suppressing a victory grin,

The GOP does not have to do much…

So this was really a beautiful touch!

When “Down Under” is your country‘s nickname
I doubt many folks will feel any shame

Letting us know all their predilections

Or what they say when giving directions

In the bedroom, or out in the open

For handcuffs, toys and maybe some ropin’…

Spaniards are certainly a nutty crew

And a lot can be seen in what they do.

Their festivals sort of tell the story…

Running with bulls can get pretty gory

While townwide tomato fights are the norm

Creating a massive red liquid storm.

It’s never much fun to beat a dead horse

But I don’t think this problem has run its course.

Each party has given us candidates

Who pretty much everyone with a brain hates.

Now the Dems have a chance to course correct

While the Right embraces its moral reject.

Once you’ve already lost touch with real life

It might be hard to catch the falling knife.

With Joe digging in and showing resolve

And no intention for plans to evolve

He’s giving us just one more chance today

Let’s get down on our knees and pray pray pray…!

As most of the world lurches to the Right

The UK took a different turn last night.

The Labour Party has taken control

And the Upper Classes don’t think it’s droll.

Some have moved to Dubai already

But balance can help make the world steady.
