Inflation rose but is now on the wane.

The market’s bull run is kind of insane.

Unemployment is low, wages are high

And interest rate hikes help the regular guy.

Despite good news satisfaction is lacking,

While half of us give the Orange Guy our backing…

Rating agencies are sometimes quirky

And the data they use can be murky.

Fitch’s has scolded us, downgrading debt

It’s probably not a terrible bet

But the reasons they cite seem off the mark,

And the size of debt is left in the dark.

Written on every US dollar bill

Our national motto has words that will

Sometimes be used in ways unintended

Like this fine fraudster who thought it splendid

To prey on the goodwill of believers

While being one of the deceivers.

By now I’d think it comes as no surprise

That both sides of the aisle have their eyes

On corruption and power and the way

That they will all try to seize the day.

Turns out the Dems too are guilty as sin

For causing the gun problem that we’re in.
