A Matter of Logistics

I don’t have a problem with the question

Or that it will give folks indigestion.

Justifying what you do at your job

Is not aggressive and should be no prob!

What I don’t understand about this slap

Is who’s going to read all this crazy crap?!

Refreshing

It’s nice to see a conservative dude

Call out the facts when the emperor is nude.

I’m all for ending the war in Ukraine

But not in a way that’s kind of insane.

It’s worth reading these truths we can’t ignore

And remember that Russia is bad to the core.

Not Some Lefty Freak

The Editors at the Wall Street Journal

Rarely have the slightest kernel

Of interest in criticizing the right

Or of hinting at any type of slight.

So it’s a big deal for them to disdain

Trump’s Ukraine plan which they think is insane.

Why DO We Speak…?

Though the article is scientific

Dealing with a gene that’s quite specific

The bigger question I like to ponder

Is why so many choose to squander

The gift of speech that we’ve received

Saying foolish things that are ill-conceived…

Maybe I’ll Watch from Home

The owners of all the NFL teams

Have said the nightmare they see in their dreams

Isn’t from injuries or losing games

Or doing something that sullies their names.

The biggest threat that they’re panicked about?

A swarm of drones on a murderous rout.

Fat, Lazy and Forgetful

Life has been great the past seven decades

With peace and good health and lots of free trades.

For sure there has been a price that we pay

And now some people don’t think that’s okay.

But that is because these fools never knew

World war and polio and what they do.

Secretary of Pretense

So the gentleman from Mississippi,

A far-right guy not much of a hippy,

Chair of the Armed Services Committee,

With knowledge of defense that’s pretty gritty,

Basically said that Hegseth’s a sucker…

A bigger clown than even Tucker.

Real Life Jonah

Most know the Old Testament’s scary tale

Of Jonah, the dude swallowed by a whale.

He was stuck inside for three days and nights

Smelly and dark with no food and no lights.

This guy survived a much shorter ordeal…

But no doubt made the same prayerful appeal.

I Hope So

Intermittent fasting is my routine

It helped me lose weight and get pretty lean.

I can’t speak to other claims people make

About its virtues or what else is at stake.

But losing some weight and getting fit?

Seems like it makes sense, you have to admit.

Inshallah

As always at first it just seems insane

Another raw thought escaping his brain.

But what other ideas have there been

To solve the misery that Gaza’s in?

He wants Arab neighbors to foot the bill

And you’d think that would also be Allah’s will.
