Donnie is pretty good at hitting back hard

Which makes me think he’s been scarred

By the swelling voices of military heroes

Who are pointing to the number of zeros

That he’s posted as the leader of his cult.

Normally he’d have a much better insult.

So the NFL is finally taking a stand.

Will it bring back players who were banned?

Better late than never, that’s for sure

And this move is certainly part of the cure.

It’s interesting to wonder what may have been

Had the league first made this a game to win.

So it’s certainly a bummer after you’ve won

I mean, where do we go from here?

And even apologizing, which of course is right,

Will be used against him in the political fight.
