And I’m happy that people are starting to see

The mystery of rhymes go deep and go far –

We hardly know what all their powers are!

But it seems they’re a part of the healing art,

And that’s a pretty sweet place to start…

Even if he does not win one vote,

And his chances of victory are pretty remote,

He is already helping our great nation

By focusing attention on the recreation

Of a strong centrist pilar, common sense,

Rejecting polarity and self-serving pretense.

Yet more evidence of a simple fact

Dogs can save us if we choose to act

With each other as we do with them.

They really don’t care if you’re a Dem

Or a Republican on the far right

They just want to fill our lives with light.
