Remote uncontrol

Working from home can be a pleasure

And provides your colleagues with some treasure

Of usually harmless goofs and gaffes

That mostly just result in laughs.

But sorry to say it’s also true

They sometimes get a disturbing view!

How bad is it?

It’s hard to know with all the hype

From annoying doomsayers, you know the type.

But these guys are working for a real solution

To address the problem of plastic pollution.

And the first step is to get both sides

To see it for themselves in the ocean tides.

Zero tolerance

These are the issues at the root of the problem
And with our attitudes today we’ll never solve them.
No one wants to learn from what’s being said
Now they tune out or get aggressive instead.
Debate in the same party can’t even start.
“Fall in line or get out” is not very smart.

Got a beef with that?

What will the marketing team do next,

With snazzy imagery and vibrant text?

Here they want to make old beef new!

Which, I suppose, shouldn’t surprise you.

It’s the same story as starting off a virgin

End then ending up at the plastic surgeon…

Just leave them alone

From the Amazon to the Arctic every day

Children pursued creative forms of play,

For thousands of years, on their own,

It’s the way our societies all have grown.

And now in their “wisdom” what adults have done

Will make less capable people who have less fun.

What are they thinking?

Now Moscow Mitch has said his piece,

“Stability” for now, but later they’ll fleece

All Americans of their standard of living

As the deficit will mean that each is giving

Even more than they give for national defense

To cover payments on our debt expense.

This ain’t Asteroids…

Say what you will about video games

But it’s hard to deny the young people’s claims

That they’re active and cool and have a role

In preparing for life and meeting your goal.

You can still think a video game sucks,

But the kid doesn’t care who made 3 million bucks!

What happens in Vegas…

The craziest of things can happen there

So you always have to be aware

Of what temptations may come your way

And what sort of price you’re willing to pay.

But I can’t say grasshoppers come to mind

As a Vegas attraction of any kind.

The hole story

Who’d have thought it had such power

To fuel the dream, to deliver our hour

Of creativity and entrepreneurial soul

From sweet dough and a strategic hole…

The donut has meant so much to so many

And has made for some a pretty penny.

Quite the blow at sea

This was no amateur operation!

20 tons of cocaine into the nation.

$1.3 billion dollars of value on the street

That could have bought an entire fleet

Of even larger ships to smuggle in a ton.

But our Customs Patrol got the job done.
