Faith means different things to different people

And is not only found under a steeple.

Can it be helpful? What’s the end game?

Does it make life better, or more of the same?

It’s been live-saving for many, who knows why…

So if you have holes in your life, give it a try?

If you pause a sec, it’s not such a reach.

I mean, you don’t surf to hear someone preach!

But it’s hard to find a surfer who thinks

That there aren’t any pretty deep links

Between riding a wave, pure perfection…

And feeling some divine connection.

Well it seems to me that this misses the point.
You know what’s good? A drink and a joint!
So it’s not a matter of replacement
I’d say instead it should be adjacent.
Have your alcohol, it always works well
And then smoke some weed to really feel swell.

I’ve always loved when this day comes around

And even more if you’re cold and snowbound.

It’s a turning point, things will get better!

The sun is sending us a love letter.

What a debate between two advisors

Both known for promoting crazy geysers

Of information to support their view

That usually is too hard to sift through.

But on this I’m aligned with RFK…

Habits not drugs are a much better way.

To the extent these drugs have the power

To open the conscience like a flower

And help people gain a much fuller sense

That the world of “possible” is immense

And if there are no bad repercussions

Then add it to Monday meeting discussions!

It’s never easy to fill a large void

No matter how much you studied Freud.

And as the hourglass holds less and less sand

The last thing you want is to feel that life’s bland.

The answer’s elusive, not easy to find…

For me? Take lots of risks and always be kind.

When fame results from a self-serving loop

First earned for… nothing! A delicious scoop…

Then builds like a snowball rolling downhill

WIthout being driven by any known skill

Well it’s nice to see some form of rebuke

For a life and style that make many puke.
