Five days ago I still that thought he sucked

But that was before I first heard the news

He might be someone UNC would choose

To run their program which really deserves

A world class coach with steely nerves.

Like most everything around us these days

Shopping has evolved in enormous ways.

Sit on your butt and scroll through the stores

You never even need to go outdoors.

And the winners of this gluttonous mess?

Credit card companies and UPS.

The headlines scream that more help is needed

But one of those needs seems to go unheeded.

More agents are assigned to stem the flow

But what agents need is somewhere to go

Where they can find relief from the stress.

More chaplains are needed to fix this mess.

Social media sorta seems like the tide

It’s gonna rise, and there’s nowhere to hide.

Hard to imagine these kids won’t discover

Some crafty way for them to recover

Access to the joy of their favorite site

Fueled by the sense it’s a human right.

I find the dynamic a little strange

When you’re in a group text that you want to change.

How you got in it you’re not fully sure

At one time it felt like it might be a cure.

But then whoa what’s this, they texted what?!

Will they notice if you make a clean cut…?

It took 200 years to get it built

Then fire consumed it, down to the hilt.

Seems that if you happen to be a wife

It’s stressful work but as I often say

And totally ruins that safe cocoon…

Hypocrisy? Yes! A bit outrageous.

But some things in life are quite contagious…

People will argue that this pardon shows

But when winners flaunt their lawless extremes
