The horror we witnessed on that dark day
Has only multiplied in a sad way.
So many more lives have now been taken
All hope for goodness has been forsaken.
No matter your side in this terrible war
The human loss rattles down to the core.

I just spent the weekend at UNC

Which is truly a model for what can be.

It finds the balance between all life’s fare

With scholars, athletes and people who care.

This new program came under suspicion

But should be embraced with total conviction.

When it comes to crimes of politicians

They’re usually fostered by ambitions

Of growing their wealth and building power

Creating a fortress and a tower.

So it’s kind of funny this far right dude

Just stole from a show the whole world has viewed.

In what turned out to be a good debate

With policy and vision on the plate

Discussed in a manner that’s becoming

Of global leaders, not mindless drumming,

The next generation just rolled its eyes…

A pretty strong signal of our demise.

So as it turns out I‘ve actually been both

And if I were asked to swear under oath

Which of the two makes you better prepared

To be in a debate, nationally aired

I’d have to go with being a teacher…

It makes you a pretty hardened creature.

Fat rich and lazy? They don’t work too hard?
Yeah, sounds like the crew up in Harvard Yard.
The endowment is dropping like a rock.
Turns out it’s harder than being a jock.
So perhaps they know that returns are frail…
But what matters to them… are they beating Yale?

It’s nothing new that we don’t think alike
But it seems that things are starting to spike.
In almost every bucket of life
There is an increasing sense of strife.
Is it a pendulum and will it turn?
Or will it grow into a greater concern?

The premise here is not quite how it seems
The company will not realize its dreams
Hiring the youngest, greenest of all
That, most likely, will end in a bad fall.
Rather go find one who worked her way through
From intern on up, she’ll have the best view.

Before they go into hibernation
Bears can give in to any temptation.
They can eat and drink to their hearts’ content
Then they’ll sleep it all off, that’s the intent.
How embarrassing if they were to learn
The world is watching at every turn.

A federal indictment is a big deal,

And I’m sure Mayor Adams will appeal.

An interesting note in this episode

Is that the Left has not mindlessly flowed

To his defense screaming it’s all fake news…

If crimes were committed then pay the dues.
