For sure it’s scary that we’ve come to this

If I had my druthers we’d take a miss

On having to vote for either of them

The criminal Trump or the aging Dem.

If we’re given the choice between the two

It will feel a bit like our Waterloo…

Given the severity of life now

I’d like politicians to find a way how

To discuss all issues as if they were

As important as vets and not defer

Critical topics, strategic designs…

And not just object along party lines.

It’s hard to imagine what’s in the mind

Of anyone who would feel so inclined

To share their innermost thoughts from the past,

The delicate diary of an outcast,

With the entire world, watching Tik Tok!

Hard to know who’s in for a bigger shock.

As a general rule, I really do love

The idea that we simply can’t shove

Brand new expenses into our budget

Unless we sit down and really judge it

And find a way to meet new expenses…

But please not one which defies all senses.

If you break the law you should go to jail.

It’s not such a stretch or far off the rail.

So let’s not whine about party issues

Spare me the crying, go get some tissues.

Left or right… screw up and go to the yard.

Why in the world is this concept so hard?

It seems that creatures similar to us

Go about their lives with a lot less fuss.

They’re sleeping for almost half of the day

Which seems like it could be a pretty sweet way

Of handling stress and building powers…

While I only sleep about five hours.

He always seemed honest and open to

Trying to help himself… We’re gonna miss you.

Hard to imagine between Trump and me!

But he thinks that the only candidate

For Speaker of the House with any weight

Is Jesus Christ! No that is not a joke…

Which kind of proves the GOP is broke.
