So half of us read this headline and think

It’s the OTHER half pushing us to the brink.

It’s those Neocons, causing such trouble!

Or the idiot Libtards, in their bubble!

In fact it’s two groups, no politics there,

With different views that will give you a scare.

Elon is pissed that revenue’s shrinking,

That Apple fled without even blinking.

He’s trying to make it about free speech –

If you oppose Twitter then it’s a breach.

But speech AND the markets are indeed free,

And Apple is showing what freedom can be.

Hats off to the working kids of Gen Z

Posting their day jobs for the world to see!

Going into an office can be fun

Especially when it’s job number one.

The pandemic kept all these kids at home

Their bright outlook should be a common syndrome.

It’s hard to watch and not feel a bit sick

Especially if the boss is a dick.

But apparently what these folks can do

Is make work better for them and for you.

Fluffing the boss can make him feel real good

And then treat everyone the way he should.

I love the headline, I’m all about it

And I wish that everyone would shout it.

Coming from Elon it’s kind of a laugh

Since he’s not either, according to staff.

But he did vote for Biden in ’20…

I hope there are more choices aplenty.

On the one hand I totally agree

The country’s gone soft, so it seems to me.

On the other, if we look overseas

Places survive without “hard work disease.”

So suck it up and stop all your whining,

But don’t end up like Jack in The Shining.

Once in a while you know how they feel,

When life can just seem like an endless wheel.

You plod along doing the best you can

And then next thing you know, oh man oh man

You’re back where you started, nothing has changed…

And everything feels just a bit deranged.

I guess that’s the thing about throwing rocks

Elon’s for sure innovative as hell

But about his style? Doesn’t sit well.
