What can we say about the House Speaker?

Some may argue she made us all weaker

With partisan lines that she drew in blood

And attacking the right like a hot SCUD.

But she’s a patriot, of that I’m sure

If maybe not always very demure…

Tonight, as promised, we’re supposed to hear

Trump’s “Big Announcement,” but it’s just not clear

What he’s announcing or what he’ll do…

Ha ha! Yeah right! Like we don’t have a clue.

But perhaps there’s more hope growing out there

That the GOP may have a new heir.

I mean, how long before it’s a show?

Hollywood is drooling… greenlight, let’s go!

What sort of tension and colorful fun

Could unravel with coeds and a nun?!

And great stories told too, that may impart

Some thoughtful lessons to tug at the heart.

This isn’t as wacky as it appears
And does not prey on vulnerable fears.
Instead it creates new memories for all
Not some Ouija Board seance to hear the dead’s call.
If videos and photos help you grieve
Then AI can help heal when loved ones leave.

However much I’m really enjoying

The way that Fox News has started toying

With the fragile ego of 45

And watching Trump’s meltdown happen live,

It all fails to note a very sad truth:

His mad base will still fill the voting booth.

When the New York Post, which is owned by Fox,

Is among the first to start throwing rocks

And loudly suggesting it might be time

To finally move past Trump’s toxic slime

Well maybe just maybe the GOP

Can become the party we need it to be.

With midterm ballots still being counted

The Presidential race has now mounted.

And what a delicious start it has been!

With new nicknames and threats being thrown in.

I think Trump missed with his name for DeSantis…

He should have gone with the Praying Mantis.

If pundits are right, let’s say that they are

Then the Dems will be swamped and lose by far.

Perhaps it’s because they’re so out of touch

Or focus on things that don’t matter much.

So the pendulum will swing to the right

A new circus begins, starting tonight.

So now we see how it’s going to go!

A new edition of the Elon Show.

You know I believe he’s within his rights

And am keen to see what topics he fights.

Apparently, no matter what you do,

Poking fun at the Chief Twit is taboo.

It’s not like Brazil was in the Dark Ages

But it is alarming that we need pages

From its playbook to run an election.

This could not be going in a good direction!
