Is it, though?

Returning to its senses, that’s so nice…

But boy we have paid an awfully big price.

In the idiocy of politics

It appears that both parties get their kicks

Not with policy that thinks short and long,

But saying the other party is wrong.

Very Dangerous

The West has no choice with these new measures

And must hit hard at all Russian treasures.

But make no mistake about the impact…

Global finance will change, that is a fact.

As nations see all the power this wields

They’ll keep assets out of these battlefields.

Modern Warfare

Nothing compares to a ground force attack,
But if there’s a place that you want to sack
The tools of war have greatly expanded,
Including tracking where PJs landed.
The horrors remain, that is without doubt,

Kids are demons

For sure it seems odd, this after school club

Vladimir kept his cards close to his chest

With blatant lies, his poker face is best.

And now he has launched an unholy war

If only to let the Russian bear roar.

She’ll fit right in

Parents misbehave at a kids’ overnight…

It’s part of the process of bad oversight.

Normally an apology will do

Just saying a heartfelt “sorry” or two.

Or, you can say you totally blacked out!

She’ll do great in Congress, I have no doubt.

Hal, is that you?

It’s such a strange notion this AI thing,

Since we all have hopes that what it will bring

Is a better world with life much improved

And hurdles to happiness all removed.

Instead, it seems, we’re still in the same boat

Either man or machine will cut our throat…!
