Conservatives argue it’s a bad plan
For government to have too big a span.
And no wonder they think so when we see
How truly bad their governing can be…
A billion dollars for deporting
Four refugees! That’s not very sporting.

Like never admit you want to go green…

Or say that beef is anything but great…

If Texans are there say it’s all you ate!

And surely you’ll be considered a chump

If in any speech you don’t mention Trump…

It’s hardly news now when Rudy goes down

Since he truly became a full-blown clown.

From America’s Mayor at his best

To peddling crazy at Trump’s behest.

Oh, he went down hard that much is for sure

And with his type of fall there is no cure.

Of all of the things that they could oppose

It’s a wonder why they would thumb their nose

At only the issue of abortion

As if that’s the only big distortion

Of conservative doctrine shifting gears

In the GOP’s formative Trump years.

It’s never much fun to beat a dead horse

But I don’t think this problem has run its course.

Each party has given us candidates

Who pretty much everyone with a brain hates.

Now the Dems have a chance to course correct

While the Right embraces its moral reject.

So now that POTUS can do what he wants

It’s time to empower all commandants.

That whole Supreme Court is problematic

And though it may seem a bit dramatic

Why not replace them with a brand new crew!

If they don’t like that plan, what can they do?

How ironic in this holiday week

When we celebrate what makes us unique –

Our fight for freedom and independence

From tyranny and the dangerous ascendance

Of unchecked power (it’s just not our way) –

That SCOTUS has judged “Yup, this is ok!”

This fine southern state has now made it law

And the Christian Right is simply in awe.

No more separation of church and state!

Religion in classrooms is now their fate.

But will the students’ faith be awoken…

Or will they count the number Trump’s broken?

So there’s this new TikTok called the TradWife

That celebrates the conservative life…

Traditional gender roles play their part

The ladies stay at home, it warms the heart!

This one then promotes birth out of marriage,

Spews racist views and targets groups to disparage…

In the one where things are incredibly good
You’d imagine that the people in it would
Be grateful for their bounty and good luck
But instead they think that we really suck.
They don’t seem to believe that their success
Has much to do with our country, not less.
