If you don’t know the story, good for you!

So Bud Light ran into a sales issue

When it started to market in a way

That its customers thought was a bit gay.

But rather than defend all people’s rights,

They have now sponsored all UFC fights.

I look very hard but can hardly see

Much of value left in the GOP.

Those still with morals seem to have no spine

And almost all of them constantly whine

About how bad our great country became

When their loss of dignity is the shame.

Aside from the moderates’ total collapse

And the possibility that perhaps

This same man who voted against free will,

Rejecting an election… even still

There’s no need to worry, this will be fun

Since he’s the guy in charge of the next one.

I miss shame. It seems it has disappeared.

People stay straight-faced even when they’re smeared

As the truth comes out about their behavior

Lie upon lie in the guise of the savior.

The message? If you feel shame you’re a chump.

And it pretty much started with Donald Trump.

So in any given situation

It’s probably worth asking the nation

Well what would have been a better response?

And you can’t accept any nonchalance.

How could Biden’s response have been better?

Or did he nail it to the letter?

I mean, a piece of that could make some sense

Even though it can really make you tense.

The way it would work is if you believe

That Jim Jordan’s smart enough to conceive

That THAT is the plan and he’s been well groomed!

So okay fine, yes I guess we’re all doomed…

So the GOP is an utter mess.

And what happens now is anyone’s guess.

But they took their lead from Donald J. Trump,

Normalizing lunacy… it’s a dump.

They flouted the law and mocked consensus

And have totally lost all their senses.

So the GOP has a new leader!

Or is he another bottom feeder?

Not so much showing everyone the way

But lurking in the depths, he’ll have no say.

Any GOP Speaker of the House

Will be hostage to the roar of the mouse.

I don’t think “cakewalk” is really the term

But watching Republicans makes me squirm.

Their crazy circus will surely be felt

As Congress is put in a chastity belt.

As if there’s nothing that could use our aid

Going on in the world to make us afraid…

I’ve never really liked the Plea Deal vibe

Since it really seems not far from a bribe…

Get a light sentence and sing like a bird

To sell out your partners, give up your word.

But I couldn’t be happier that this guy

Is happy to make Donnie high and dry.
