Policy differences help make us great

But have now been replaced by mindless hate.

Not just hate against any liberal jerk

But against the things that make democracy work.

And what really makes the least sense of all?

These folks lose the most should democracy fall.

Sondland grew up in the hotel biz

And knows how important graciousness is.

He was our ambassador to the EU

Being diplomatic when problems grew.

So perhaps we should listen to his schtick

When he says that Trump is a big ‘ole dick.

She said that family is all that matters

Yet seems happy to leave it in tatters

As her husband says he’s calling it quits.

Who can blame him given her crazy fits?

He’s only trying to keep himself sane…

How I wish we all could board the same train.

Growing up in New York, I’d see him in town

The things he’d say made him seem like a clown.

Usually funny when not mean in spirit

He always self-inflated his merit.

It’s a tough town where it’s hard to make it…

And everyone knew he had to fake it.

Well at least they all are being sincere

And tell us upfront they will not adhere

To democracy and the rule of law

Because, you know, if you make a loud squaw

Chances are good you can convince enough

Folks to believe that you’re both right and tough.

The years tick by but the memory’s raw.

So much has changed it’s a punch in the jaw.

Rudy back then was a terrific man…

But to the brave folks who gave up their lives

They are heroes always in the archives.

This guy is really quite horribly flawed!

The right will cry out that it never stops,

That the left is again just busting his chops.

And it truly might seem like overkill

Except he’s always got his snout in the swill.

Abortion remains intensely complex
And it’s still unclear the total effects
Of the decision the Supreme Court made
To overturn the protections of Roe v Wade.
But if this trend holds and there’s a blue surge
A wee bit of irony would emerge…

Is it all overblown, a sad witchhunt,
Or is all his nonsense a big storm front?
For sure he disdains standard rule of law
And his unbridled self-interest, we all saw.
He’s such a con artist with tons to hide
This investigation should be blown wide.

It sure seems to me like a total ruse

Developed by folks who want to abuse

The love that bonds us to our pets

And willingness to spend with no regrets…

But what if it works, and… your pet’s a chump?!
