Wage growth has increased across all careers.

GDP expanded at its fastest rate

Since the mid-80s which had a speedy gate.

Yet people believe the nation is stalled…

Since the price of gas has left us appalled.

It’s painful to watch and it makes me cringe

Seeing Ted Cruz court the lunatic fringe.

I truly don’t know how he sleeps at night

Since he stands for nothing at all that’s right.

Response to this treason is really deranged.

We can go back in time to find people to blame…

Sure, saying “deplorables” was truly a shame.

But there’s only one person who caused this wreck:

Yes, Donald J. Trump, that pain in the neck.

He is one of MAGA’s most well-known guys

And has led a life full of lows and highs.

Fiercely promoting his views from the right

He held up his marriage as the great height

Of commitment to family… He’s in touch!

Well, as it turns out, maybe not so much…

I still don’t know how these guys sleep at night

Or how they slither their way out of sight

When they change position time and again

With no consequence for what they said “then.”

Mitch loudly decried the Jan 6 commission

So I bet he knows they’ve found some munition.

When good people do nothing, evil thrives

And those they enable sharpen their knives.

Perhaps it’s a stretch to call these folks “good,”

Certainly now as we see where they stood,

And know that they feared for our Republic
