Truly what is most clear in his feat

Is that Donnie doesn’t miss a beat.

He’s spent decades now perfecting his trade

Strong-arming people to drink the Kool Aid.

Never mind if it’s legal when it’s his biz

And it sure shows what a spoiled brat he is.

Some of these are too good to be true

And of all his inanities are but a few.

As his time in office comes to an end

There is the desire to sort of pretend

And has the look of one who’s binged

On alcohol and drugs and right-wing media,

We knew early on there would be trouble…

Truth dwelled outside Donnie’s bubble.

We then headed down unusual tracks

When his team introduced “alternative facts.”

Now that the end of his rule is nigh

Could it be his crew is just plain high?

For two and a half centuries till now

America had shown the world how

Democracy was done in a nation

That’s committed to laws and civilization.
