Tension between the States and the Fed

Have often resulted in lots of blood shed.

So now Donnie is taking to his bully pulpit

To claim violence in cities are the culprit,

And that the Feds must bring law and civility…

Yet with Covid 19? He has “no responsibility.”

Who would have thought such a class act

Would stoop to this shortly after the fact

That his sentence was commuted for no reason

Other than the President covering up treason

And protecting his cronies after breaking the law.

Entitlement’s disdain is such a character flaw.

It’s an interesting dilemma, that’s for sure.

Donnie is a guy who takes lying on tour.

Joe for his part can’t keep the facts straight.

So in both situations the truth will stagnate.

But what do we want in the leader of our nation?

Some honest mistakes or manipulation?

Sometimes magic does its part

But hard to say it’s very smart

To count on it as the primary plan

To protect against the growing span

Of a pandemic that could be stopped

If leadership hadn’t fully flopped.

Does anyone actually pay attention to polls?

With all of the posing and use of trolls?

You’d think we’d have learned this lesson before –

Folks may not be truthful with a guy at the door.

I hope Joe and his crew take no comfort in this

Or else I suspect they will have a big miss.
