Nancy Reagan asked us to “just say no,”

As if magically then a drug problem would go.

I do believe that we’re asking for less

From our GOP friends and the conservative press.

Donnie’s collection of offenses is piling up high.

Perhaps now is the time that they do or they die.

So here we are at that corrupt place

Where you’d think you’d finally feel disgrace.

The Chief of Staff couldn’t have been more plain –

Ukraine aid was withheld for political gain.

And then as well Trump is lining his pocket

Putting the G7 meeting on his hotel docket.

It happened to be the 1000^th day

Of Donnie’s current White House stay.

Fireworks galore, as per the norm

Insulting generals, Dems and traditional form.

And yes he wrote Erdogan a juvenile letter.

But at least some Republicans are acting better.

I grew up in Donnie’s New York City

He was a media hound and always gritty.

It was no surprise when he hit reality TV

He loved staging drama for people to see.

You’d think as POTUS (at least thru tomorrow)

He’d be able to stop commercializing sorrow.
